Dating App Predator Allegedly Instructed Woman on How to Kill Herself

Anton Smolin, a 43-year-old dating app predator, has been exposed for his vile abuse of a vulnerable young woman, referred to as Emma to protect her identity in the original report by the Daily Mail. Emma, a 20-year-old student struggling with mental health and financial difficulties, connected with Smolin through a sugar daddy website in January last year. Despite making it clear that she was only interested in a platonic relationship, Smolin unleashed a torrent of abuse when she canceled a date and refused his sexual advances.

Smolin, an electrical engineer, targeted Emma’s mental fragility, calling her derogatory names such as “fat ugly pig” and “worthless piece of s**t.” He even went so far as to suggest various methods of suicide, exploiting her vulnerability and knowledge of her self-harm history. Smolin’s messages became increasingly graphic and cruel, with him instructing her on how to successfully take her own life, advising her to lie on train tracks.

Emma, deeply affected by Smolin’s relentless harassment, harmed herself and eventually reported his abusive messages to the police. She described how Smolin’s words had pushed her to a breaking point, leaving her devastated. In January, Smolin was found guilty of using a mobile phone to menace, harass, or offend, and was placed on a $500 two-year good behavior bond.

Emma’s courage in sharing her story serves as a warning to other women who may encounter predators like Smolin on dating platforms. She hopes her experience will inspire others to come forward and seek justice, ensuring that Smolin and men like him are held accountable for their actions.

In addition to Emma’s case, Smolin has been accused by multiple women of verbal abuse, including calling them derogatory names when they canceled or rescheduled dates. Despite initially launching defamation claims against the media for exposing his behavior, Smolin abandoned the lawsuit after being linked to his self-published book, Seduction Chronicles of a Psychopath, in which he boasts of manipulative and predatory behaviors, including exploiting underage girls.

Emma’s bravery in coming forward has shone a light on the dangers of online predators, encouraging others to speak out and seek help.
